Soul Session is an evening of connection, learning and community. This intimate event features inspirational women speakers talking about something that is on their heart. Take some time to slow down, learn something new, have a conversation, and build connections in a meaningful way. 

Soul Session Format

  • An intimate gathering of up to 20 in person and more online.
  • Hear three stories, 15 to 20 minutes each
  • Connect afterward to enjoy a non-alcoholic beverage and conversation

All proceeds will be donated to charitable organizations chosen by our presenters.

OUR STORYTELLERS

Eve Gaudet, BA, CEC, PCC

Eve is an executive coach with a long history of supporting others. This passion led to shifting her career and actualizing her interest in helping others to gain new perspectives, discover what’s holding them back or uncover strengths to realize their potential. Eve excels when working with leaders wanting to make a change, and with leaders and teams wanting to improve their leadership and communication competencies.

She has worked in senior levels in the public, private and non-profit sectors with experience spanning small business to global initiatives. With a Bachelor of Arts, Eve has completed her Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching and is currently completing her Masters in Executive and Organizational Coaching through Royal Roads University. She holds a Profession Coach Certification with the International Coach
Federation.

Eve’s personal life is her foundation, with family at the centre. As a wife, mother of two women and now grandmother, her goals are to navigate the transitions of her life with grace, gratitude and openness.

Emily Olsen

Originally from Aotearoa, New Zealand, Emily moved to the northern hemisphere, spent her teens in Heiltsuk Territory on the central coast of BC, and eventually found her home on Vancouver Island. Emily graduated from the Simon Fraser University Writers Studio Program, where she discovered a passion for poetry and explored a variety of literary genres. Emily‘s life is filled with a passion for connecting people and sharing their stories. She’s the heart and soul behind the Connection Project Society, serving as both its Artistic Director and Speaker Coach for their annual mental health storytelling event. With over two decades of leadership experience, Emily is committed to helping individuals reach their full potential. She has hands-on experience in operations and people management, as well as training in acting for theatre, film, and television. Emily’s recent exploration into the world of documentary filmmaking, is driven by her deep appreciation for storytelling and its power to foster genuine human connections. Additionally, Emily‘s role as a Cultivating Safe Spaces training facilitator is a testament to her dedication to dismantling colonial influences and creating positive, lasting change in personal and systemic contexts. Her heart and home are in W̱SÁNEĆ Territory on Vancouver Island, where she lives with her husband and two children.

In her 20’s, Bernice Rahm co-founded a company that created a new worldwide niche industry – manufacturing rings & scales for chainmail. This business crossed demographics & industries serving a diverse worldwide customer base that included NASA who used her scales on the Insight Mission seismometer that is now on Mars and fashion designers for Game of Thrones & The Hobbit. After 2 decades of steering her business through all types of challenges she found herself out of alignment and sold the company in 2019. In this transition she learned to go from Doing to Delegating to Empowering to Being. Her transition now continues in the realms of Authenticity and Embodiment. Currently she is the founder of businessforhumans.ca, where she brings experiences of authentic connection into workplace environments using the practice of Authentic Relating. She is a certified professional coach and mentor, Authentic Relating and Circling Practitioner & Facilitator, and a somatics & psychotherapy enthusiast. She also currently offers Somatic Coaching for Recovering Strivers as well as for Self & Relational Leadership. Bernice is committed to relational and personal growth practice as a way of life.
